No better way to celebrate my 50th than spending a wonderful two weeks travelling around Santorini, Paros, Anti Paros, Naxos and Athens! Here are just a few of the hundreds of photo’s I took!!

A shock to the system when we arrived in Athens. Graffiti EVERYWHERE. On Houses, shops, historical monuments etc.

The view of the Acropolis and Parthenon from our Hotel.

Loved all the street performers…

Parthenon up close. If you’re visiting in the day, go after 5pm when the temperature is a little cooler and the crowds have subsided!

Our daily gorgeous, fresh greek salad!

Loved travelling on the ferries.

Trying to persuade my husband to buy this stunner…..and the windmill!!

Snowdonia Hike

A perfect day walking up the highest mountain in Wales – Snowdon! The path we opted to take proved extremely challenging but the vistas as we ascended provided a perfect distraction from the steep, slippery incline!

Great Company, Food and Weather!

Love getting an early morning text from a friend who has an unexpected day off and fancies a trip out! So, armed with cameras and tripods we headed off to Chriselton, an idyllic Cheshire village not too far from us. A rare appearance from the sun made the day all the more pleasurable! Naturally we had to ensure energy levels were maintained so headed off to the ‘Ring O’ Bells’ Pub for a delicious lunch!!

Too close for comfort!

Ventured out with my new Tokina 11-16mm lens yesterday but had a narrow escape when this cheeky chap decided to come extremely close and peck the lens! Thankfully no damage!!

The Art of Avoidance!

Teenage daughter has discovered that baking is FAR more fun than revising for summer exams! Result: calorific delights 1 – academic studies 0!!!

Easter in Ellesmere

Great start to the Easter holidays with a trip to Ellesmere Lake in Shropshire. A mixture of sun, gorgeous scenery and my teenage daughter and dog for company, made for a perfect day. Afternoon tea at ‘The Boat House’ was the icing on the cake!
